The greenhouse and cold frames are largely finished but Ben is still waiting for the reservoir pump, a victim of supply delays. The company, Alitex, is clearly doing very well with a healthy order book – our relatively small one was ordered in January – a wait of 9/10 months, Ben’s next two jobs are in Switzerland and Belgium.

The greenhouse is proving to be a nice, warm refuge – Dave and Pippa called in after a visit to Stourhead. (Note the lettuces!)

Hope the bedrooms aren’t too small.
If it’s any help, when we had work done on our northern outpost we both thought the outline was too small when it was just at ground level.
Fingers crossed.
