Ho Ho Ho, Happy Christmas!

A quieter few days with nice visits from Andy and Dean, who could become our expert advisors on anything from sourcing bricks, to demolition, to fire pit design …. and Mike, with whom we enjoyed a very ‘substantial’ lunch in the Fox and Hounds. By chance the hunt was out yesterday around the village and we heard the hounds’ blood-curdling baying most of the day.

We’re down to the one television so Chris can’t escape Strictly. He spent this week’s episode drafting the (plagiarised) words for the planning application which we’d like ready for the end of the year. Lauren is finalising the building drawings and Svend is preparing some landscaping and garden ideas. We have to submit landscaping plans as part of the application.

Clouds House without the mist

In yesterday’s Telegraph there was a harsh reminder of the need to look after our bat in the bungalow roof space …
