A lovely sunny morning was a super start to the day – another busy one. With apologies to those who have seen enough building photos … Our old neighbours and friends from Wolferstan, Stuart and Allison, came to see what all the fuss was about and for lunch at the Fox and Hounds.

An uncomfortably busy day today … We had the five guys from MBC, three chaps from Burfitt and Garrett, two from Onwards and Upwards, one roofer … and a partridge in a pear tree ….

The five guys we have here are working so hard, and today they had Storm Barra to contend with, though thankfully it went through much quicker than forecast. They’ve completed two weeks and Brendan thinks another week or so should do it. We’re pushing things by having other trades start work before MBC has finished. … More 7th December 2021
