Bev acted as the gate-keeper as the removal guys brought in our furniture, junk, and too many boxes labelled ‘miscellaneous’ … Chris just got bad-tempered at the volume of stuff that we’ve been expensively storing for months; “Boy, are we going to have a sort out!” There’s a home here for most of it, with the rest going to Genevieve and Henry, but plenty for Gumtree and eBay too.
Away from the furniture angst, Ashley calmly installed the mechanical ventilation and heat recovery units. These will act as the ‘lungs’ of the house, collecting and removing stale air and bringing in fresh which it warms as it pumps it around the house.
