Today the roof zinc was finished and Andy has left us until we’re ready for the capping to the parapet walls (which can only be done after the rendering). If we’d known what a nuisance these parapets would become, perhaps we’d have asked for something different from our architects …
In other metal news, the corten steel ring to go round Chris’ plastic trough (to form a dipping pond by the raised beds) was delivered by Ian and Jobe from the village forge. Bev is yet to buy into the (rusted) vision. And it’s going to be challenge getting it over there!
