On Thursday Page and Gavin returned with digger and dumper to spend two or three weeks with us. They’re going to dig the trenches for the ground source heat pump collection pipes, install the rainwater harvesting tank, and lay the sewers, along with some other muddy groundworks.
Getting this done will mean we can then extend the area of future garden that we can start working on – the temporary spring diversion will be out of the way and we can spread soil, plant and lay paths over the electric cable, the ground source feeder pipes, and the sewers.
The stove went into the bothy today. Can’t wait to fire her up but we do have to wait …
