It was bloody cold last night, and our first frost of the winter this morning. But lovely sunshine soon warmed us up and lifted our spirits. Bev even took her coat off, which is ritually worn over a fleece worn over pyjamas while we enjoy an early morning cuppa in bed.
Onwards and Upwards, our scaffolders, have made a start on the scaffold which needs to be up by next Monday when the frame erection gets going. Dulcie now takes the various workmen, their machinery and the noise in her stride.
A reminder of what’s changed since we first visited the site, one mirky day in January 2020. But Bev’s probably wearing the same coat!
