We’ve had contrasting standards of skills and craftsmanship on display over the last few days. Henry came over on Sunday to help Chris to make our first compost bins. We’ve felt slightly ashamed that our peelings and cuttings have been going in the wrong bin for nearly a year – poor behaviour for such waste enthusiasts!
Meanwhile Lee is back for some brickwork, starting with the removal of what we suspect is a post-war addition to the wall at the main gate. The ugly plinth served no purpose and was only partially keyed into the garden wall.
And our rotovator arrived – but in pieces. It didn’t look like this on the website! To be continued …
