Five things happened today quite unexpectedly.
We woke up this morning to a heavy frost and no water in the caravan at all. Chris checked the weather forecast and decided that he was happy to wait until 10am for the outside pipes to thaw. I was less keen because there was no certainty that the frost would actually thaw and a lack of tea was weighing on me. In the end, the Fat Controller gave way to the Voice of Reason and I tackled what I thought were frozen areas of pipe with my hair dryer, with very speedy results, so even Dulcie could have a drink of water.
Then we looked out of the window and saw the Man From Open Reach who gave us lots of confidence that our WiFi can soon be connected.
Craig the Caravan rang to say that our delayed sofa cushions had arrived from Hull so I drove over to Salisbury to collect them.

Matt who’s helped us a lot over the years popped by to drop off some fencing panels so we can now secure the site, which is lucky because the builder who is going to do some repairs on the well house has left us with scaffolding and large stone blocks.
Finally Keith from our preferred construction company came to check out our site and talk about the details of our plans. It’s really exciting and we want to start YESTERDAY!
The way it is all moving on you will be in by Christmas 2021
