We’ve stored stuff that isn’t too precious in the bungalow temporarily but will need to relocate this to the caravan, office and storage units that we’re planning to install on-site once the roof starts coming off. We need a fresh planning consent before we can demolish the bungalow and must have a bat licence from Natural England before we disturb the roost in the loft. As Bev’s said, she can be homeless but the bats can’t!
For November and into early December we’ve rented a house in nearby Hindon. This gives us time to get the site straight and the static caravan that will be home for the foreseeable future delivered and connected up with water, power, broadband and sewerage.
